Reverend Curtis L. Cummings
Curtis Cummings is a native of Tarboro , North Carolina where he was baptized in his home church ( Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church ) at the early age of seven (7). Powerful in his position as a football linebacker for the Tarboro High School Vikings, he was awarded a full scholarship to Saint Paul University in Lawrenceville , Virginia where he attended college. Later in life he married Melvinia L.Kesler; rededicated his life to Christ on May 7, 2000 and joined the New Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church in Cooleemee , North Carolina under the leadership of his father in law, Rev. Melvin E. Kesler, MA. At New Shepherd, he served as Chairman of the Brotherhood and Assistant Adult Sunday School Teacher, as well as, the Armor Bearer for the Pastor. Professionally, Curtis is a Independent Corporate Sales Contract Trainer and travels all over the USA collaborating with companies to train their associates and staff. While living in Atlanta, GA, Pastor & First Lady (Lady C) Cummings served under watchcare with Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. Curtis preached his initial sermon on October 24, 2010 at New Shepherd Baptist Church and is presently enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary. His call scripture is Matthew 28: “The Great Commission.” The couple have 2 children, Tiffany Kesler-Davis and Curtis Cummings, Jr. (CJ).
